BIO HiPP 1 Combiotic infant formula is intended for healthy non-breastfed infants from birth to 6 months of age as the only source of liquid food when mother's milk is not available or is insufficient. Mother's milk is the best food for the baby. Before using the formula, consult a doctor.

What does Combiotic mean? This is a term that informs that prebiotics and probiotics are used in organic infant formula. Prebiotics are fibers called galactooligosaccharides. They are derived from lactose, an ingredient found in breast milk. Fiber is also found in breast milk. Probiotics help maintain the good bacteria that are naturally present in everyone’s gut. Probiotics use prebiotics to ensure a balanced digestive and immune system.

Preparing the formula. Prepare the formula strictly according to the instructions on the packaging.

• Boil the water before each feeding and cool it to 40°C - 50°C (warm) before preparing the formula. Do not prepare the formula with water that is too hot, as this will damage the lactic acid bacteria!
• Pour 2/3 of the water required for the feeding into the bottle.
• Measure the powder with a dry measuring spoon, scrape off any powder buildup with a clean knife. Add the recommended amount of powder to the bottle.
• After closing the bottle, shake vigorously.
• Pour in the remaining water and shake again.
• Cool to a suitable drinking temperature (about 37°C), check by applying a drop to your wrist.

Each baby can consume a different amount of the mixture. The recommended amount of the mixture is indicated in the table on the package. Your baby does not necessarily have to consume the entire amount of the mixture. Use the dosing spoon included in the package!

ATTENTION! Prepare the mixture for one time and immediately before feeding time (long storage of the prepared mixture at room temperature can provoke the appearance of unwanted bacteria). Do not use leftovers later. Do not heat the prepared mixture in the microwave.

WARNINGS: Incorrect preparation of the mixture can harm the baby's health. Wash the bottle and teat thoroughly, sterilize at least once a day.

Storage conditions. After opening the package, consume within 3 weeks. Store the package tightly closed in a dry place at room temperature (from 5°C to 25°C), but not in the refrigerator.
