The Genial Day Reusable Menstrual Cup is a smooth, flexible, medium-soft, hypoallergenic, medical grade, recyclable TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). It is not silicone! TPE is resistant, durable and sustainable.
The cup is inserted into the vagina like a tampon, but it collects menstrual blood instead of absorbing it. When using the cup, you will not feel it, it does not cause discomfort and there is no smell. It is probably the most environmentally friendly menstrual product and a great alternative to pads, packs and tampons. Genial Day Menstrual Cup is designed for heavy and light bleeding. It may not be removed for up to 12 hours, depending on the amount of bleeding. This gives you complete freedom while exercising or traveling. Safety information. Sterilize the cup before first use and at the end of each cycle: boil the cup for 3-4 minutes in a pot of water. You can also do this in the microwave by placing it in a container with water. The cup must be covered.

Before intercourse, you must remove the cup and remember that it is not a method of contraception and does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Menstrual cups should not be used after childbirth. It is a hygiene product, so do not share it.

Never use the Genial Day cup for more than 12 hours continuously without washing it properly.

Wash the cup with water. Use only unscented, intimate hygiene or cup-specific detergents. Do not use perfumed body and dishwashing detergents. Be aware that chemicals may remain on the cup and enter the vagina, causing skin irritation.

Wet the cup when inserting it into the vagina or use only water-based lubricants. Oil-based lubricants can damage the cup.

Never store the cup in a plastic bag or airtight container.

If you have a negative effect: you feel general symptoms of pain, burning, irritation or inflammation in the genital area or discomfort when urinating, do not use the cup and consult your doctor.

If the cup tears, starts to bleed, becomes sticky or starts to irritate the vagina, you need to change it. Throw in the trash.
