HiPP HA1 special medical infant formula can provide hypoallergenic comfort for your baby and is perfect for newborns up to 6 months of age. You can use the German HiPP HA1 infant formula alone as a complete nutritious food or supplement it between meals with breast milk. We know how difficult it is to see your little one suffering from digestive problems, skin reactions or hay fever-like symptoms caused by sensitivity to the ingredients of the infant formula. HiPP HA1 can help to alleviate some of these causes.

This special formula contains whey protein hydrolysate (casein-free), which means that the long-chain milk proteins have been hydrolysed into smaller pieces. This makes the formula easier to digest and reduces the risk of allergen exposure. Although the hydrolysis process reduces the viscosity of the milk, this milk formula maintains a thicker consistency compared to other hydrolysed milk formulas, even without the use of starch. Like breast milk, HiPP HA Stage 1 contains lactose, which is the main source of carbohydrates, and a blend of organic vegetable oils and minerals. In addition, it contains iron for cognitive development, vitamins A, C and D for a healthy immune system, prebiotic dietary fiber (GOS) for a healthy intestinal flora, and long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega 3 and 6, which are essential for the development of brain and nerve cells.

Milk formula can be used from birth as the only source of food, and from 6 months of age, after consultation with a doctor, infant feeding can be supplemented with solid food and be part of a mixed diet. Breast milk is the best food for a baby. Consult a doctor before starting to use formula.

Preparation of the milk formula. Prepare the milk formula strictly according to the instructions on the package. Incorrect preparation of the formula can harm the baby's health.

• Boil the water before each feeding and cool it to 40°C - 50°C (warm) before preparing the formula. The milk formula should not be prepared with boiling water, so as not to harm the lactic acid bacteria.
• Pour the required amount of water (see feeding recommendations) into the bottle.
• Measure the powder with a dry measuring spoon, scrape off the powder buildup with a clean knife. Add the recommended amount of powder (see feeding recommendations) into the bottle.
• After closing the bottle, shake vigorously.
• Pour in the remaining water and shake again.
• Cool to a suitable drinking temperature (about 37°C), check by applying a drop to your wrist.
  *Note: the milk formula should not be prepared with boiling water (so as not to harm the lactic acid bacteria).

Each baby may consume a different amount of the mixture. The recommended amount of the mixture is indicated in the table on the package. Your baby may not necessarily consume the entire amount of the mixture. Use the measuring spoon provided in the package! Must be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Not suitable for babies prone to allergies. The product is not intended for parenteral use.

ATTENTION! Prepare the mixture for one time and immediately before feeding time (long storage of the prepared mixture at room temperature can provoke the appearance of unwanted bacteria). Do not use leftovers later. Do not heat the prepared mixture in a microwave oven.

WARNINGS: Incorrect preparation of the mixture can harm the baby's health. Wash the bottle and teat thoroughly, sterilize at least once a day.

Storage conditions. After opening the package, consume within 3 weeks. Store the package tightly closed in a dry place at room temperature (from 5°C to 25°C), but not in the refrigerator.
